Public Works (DPW)
Overview
The Wilbraham Department of Public Works (DPW) has 29 full-time employees and has a total operating budget of $3.5 million. The DPW’s primary responsibility is to provide safe roads throughout the entire year, deliver safe water to residents, as well as provide fire hydrant service, provide sewer service, trash disposal, assist in recreational maintenance and provide staff for emergency preparedness, planning, billing and overall management. The net results of our activity impact the quality of life and the health and welfare of the residents.
