[ARCHIVED] Town Clerk Reminds Residents of Voting Location

Town Clerk Beverly J. Litchfield wants to remind her voters that all voting is now at Minnechaug Regional High School located at 621 Main Street.

If you are an early morning (7:00 am) voter or a voter who usually arrives between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm, please note that school will be in session during this primary election; therefore, you will have to be patient and cautious since buses and students will be there, also. If you can avoid those hours, you should not experience any major delays. We need to work as a team to make this process a smooth one.

Clerk Litchfield is asking that you please make note of where to enter the school to get to the voting location. When you follow the designated traffic route, you will be directed to the rear of the high school. Parking is designated for voters opposite the entrance to the Superintendent of Schools offices.

If you are unsure of where the entrance to voting is, please proceed to the rear of the school; and as you face the back of the school, it is the area on the right. It will be clearly marked on voting day. You will enter through the Superintendent’s exterior doors. Signage will direct you to the gymnasium where voting will take place.

Clerk Litchfield would as like to mention that this is still new for everyone, so please have extra patience in your heart.
