A regional household hazardous waste collection day for the towns of East Longmeadow, Hampden, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Palmer and Wilbraham will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Wilbraham at the Minnechaug Regional High School, 621 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095. Use the Tinkham Road entrance.
Wilbraham residents must have a Disposal and Recycling Center permit to participate. Pre-registration is required. Registration by telephone will be taken by on September 12, 13 and 14, ONLY by call 596-2800 ext.208 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
As in previous years, propane tanks will not be accepted. Lead paint will be accepted, but latex paint is NOT a hazardous material and will NOT be collected. Latex paint should be dried out and disposed of in the trash. Residents may bring a mercury thermometer to exchange for a digital one.
