Wilbraham Town Clerk, Carole J. Tardif, is announcing that nomination papers are available in her office by calling 596-2800 ext 200 and setting up an appointment. The last day to obtain nomination papers is Wednesday, March 24, 2021 for the Annual Town Election scheduled for May 15, 2021. The positions being voted that day are: Selectman for 3 years, Town Clerk for 3 years, Moderator for 3 years, Assessor for 3 years, two Regional School Committee members for 3 years, Cemetery Commissioner for 3 years, Water Commissioner for 3 years, two Library Trustees for 3 years, one Planning Board Member for 5 years, and one Wilbraham Housing Authority Member for 5 years. The deadline for submission to the Registrars for certification is Friday, March 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for those who wish to obtain those papers. A total of 50 signatures from registered Wilbraham voters are required to have a name listed on the ballot as an independent candidate. A letter stating the candidate’s name, address and the office being sought must be submitted at the time of the request to the Town Clerk.
