PRESS RELEASE –

STATE PRIMARY ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022

TOWN CLERK REMINDERS FOR WILBRAHAM VOTERS

Town Clerk Carole J. Tardif is reminding Wilbraham voters of the State Primary on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and that all voting will take place at Minnechaug Regional High School located at 621 Main Street

Since school is in session on September 6th, Clerk Tardif is asking that voters pay close attention to signs and building entrance signs guiding them to the voting location, using the Superintendent door to enter.  She noted the signs will direct voters to the rear of the high school and the parking designated for voters, near the District Office.

Clerk Tardif also noted there will be plenty of signage, as well as staff, to guide voters to the gymnasium where voting will take place.  She further advised that if at all possible, it is be best to avoid arriving between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., due to traffic congestion during student drop off and pick up.

Tardif also stressed that although there may be some inconvenience on September 6th, it is important that there be a good balance between the education and safety of the high school students and the convenience and integrity of the electoral process for the voters of Wilbraham.  She wanted to thank everyone in advance for their cooperation.
