[ARCHIVED] Learn to Ski Snowboard Program

Snowboarding

The program will run for five weeks beginning early January. The ski area offers four lighted slopes, one half pipe, the lodge, and area ticket for 3½ hours, including the required one hour lesson and open skiing or snowboarding. Rental packages are available for those who need them.

There is a limit of 50 students and 5 chaperons. The bus must have a minimum of 25 participants to run. This very popular program is filled on a first-come basis.

The bus will leave WMS promptly at 2:30PM by charter transportation. The bus will arrive back at WMS for pickup at 10:00PM.

Each program evening, there will be two possible instruction times: Session I for lessons is 5:00-6:00PM. Session II for lessons is 6:00-7:00PM. Anyone renting equipment should arrive at the area at least 45 minutes before the appropriate session time in order to obtain his/her skis or snowboard. Students should report to the lesson area, with their equipment 15 minutes prior to the lesson time. Lesson times may not be changed.

We look forward to another successful program!
