Due to the limited availability of rock salt and ice melt at local stores, the Town will distribute rock salt to Wilbraham residents. See details below.
Limitations: (1) One 5 gallon bucket per household. Town supply is limited.
Location: Spectacle Pond Lower Parking Lot, 2540 Boston Rd, Wilbraham
Time: Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm or until the daily salt supply is depleted.
Requirements: Proof of Wilbraham residency. Must supply your own bucket.
DPW employees will remove the bucket from the vehicle, fill it and return it back to the vehicle. You do not need to bring your own shovel.
For safety reasons residents should stay in their vehicle at all times. Refer to the Town websites and social media platforms for up to date information.
