On 09/18/14 at approximately 4:35am, CSX Transportation Inc. contacted Wilbraham Central Dispatch reporting that one of their freight trains had struck a vehicle near 75 Old Boston Road in Wilbraham.
The Wilbraham Police and Fire Departments responded and located a severely damaged vehicle. The vehicle appears to have been abandoned and unoccupied at the time of the incident.
The incident is being investigated by Wilbraham Police Officer Brent Noyes.
