Domestic Assault Battery, Cruelty to an Animal
On 02/11/14 a female resident of Wilbraham came to the Wilbraham Police Department reporting a domestic assault and battery and animal cruelty. Officer Lawrence Rich was informed by the female that she was physically assaulted and that her Papillion dog was thrown, which resulted in injuries to the dog. The dog was treated at the Boston Road Animal Hospital in Springfield. Officer Rich went to the victim’s residence to further investigate and spoke with a male party. A Nathan Torretti, 38, of Wilbraham was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault and Battery and Cruelty to an Animal. Torretti was arraigned at the Palmer District Court.
