On February 9 at 4:16 a.m. Officer David Diogo observed a speeding motor vehicle on Springfield St. The officer then observed the vehicle drift off the right shoulder of the roadway and crash. The operator was uninjured. Jesse Jarvis 21, of Springfield was charged with a Marked Lanes violation, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Unsafe Operation due to the unsafe using of a mobile device and Speeding.
On February 10 at 1:06 a.m. Officer Alderico Florindo stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for minor motor vehicle infractions. The operator, Leonel Velasquez 35, of Springfield was arrested OUI Liquor 2nd Offense. The passenger, Wilcer Velazquez 26, also of Springfield had two warrants for his arrest. One was for traffic related offenses out of Springfield and one was a deportation order from ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
On February 11 at 7:00 a.m. Officer Lawrence Rich responded to Mountain Road for a report of a domestic disturbance. The female girlfriend and her dog were both injured. After interviews and surveying the scene Officer Rich had probable cause to arrest Nathan Torretti 38, of Wilbraham with Domestic Assault and Battery and Cruelty to Animals.
On February 11 at 10:45 p.m. Wilbraham Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Darion Mcneil 34, of Wilbraham was arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery.
On February 12 at 3:57 p.m. Wilbraham police officers Justin Wall and Thomas Motyka responded to a Longfellow Drive address for a reported domestic disturbance. Alexandra Ford 23, of Wilbraham was arrested by Officer Wall for Domestic Assault and Battery.
On February 14 at 5:15 p.m. Officer Joseph Brewer responded to the Shell station to investigate a hit and run crash. A female operator began to scream at the other male operator and tried to punch him. Officer Brewer grabbed a hold of her to stop the threat. She pushed the officer and created a scene. Jamie Jensen 51, of Wilbraham was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.
