On July 5 at 1:09 a.m. Officer Sean Casella arrested Vu Hung Nguyen 47 of Springfield for OUI Liquor and Negligent Operation. He was also cited for a marked lanes violation.
On July 7 at 12:38 a.m. Sergeant Jeffrey Rudinski conducted a motor vehicle stop on Boston Road for a speeding violation. Sergeant Rudinski subsequently observed a crosswalk sign in the back seat. The operator, Timothy Regan 19 of Springfield admitted to stealing the sign and a large recreational ball from the Wilbraham Recreation Department fields. Mr. Regan was charged with the Larceny and the property was returned.
On July 9 at 11:34 a.m. Detective Michael Cygan investigated a criminal harassment incident and had enough probable cause to get an arrest warrant. Andrew W. Bottone 35, of Wilbraham was taken into custody and assisting with the arrest was newly appointed police officer Christopher Rogers.
On July 10 around midnight Officer Christopher Arventos ran a record check on a license plate and found that the white Maxima did not have the right plate and later found the registration was revoked. Further investigation revealed that the operator, Julie Proulx 33 of Springfield had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident
