WIlbraham Police seized over 1,000 bags of heroin following a traffic stop in Wilbraham.
Wilbraham Police Capt. Timothy Kane says that members of their department had been conducting what he calls “lengthy ongoing narcotics investigations in Wilbraham and surrounding communities.”
Kane adds that Sunday, officers conducted a traffic stop on driver, who was suspected of bring heroin into Wilbraham.
During the stop, officers confiscated 1,028 bags of heroin and a small quantity of cocaine. The heroin has an estimated street value of $6,000.
The driver of the car, Todd Michael Archible of Belchertown, and his passenger, Robert Harvey of Holyoke, were both arrested.
Archible is facing charges including trafficking in a Class A substance (heroin), possession of a Class B substance (cocaine), operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, while Harvey is facing one charge of Possession of a Class A substance.
